Jenkins

Mr. Union Purvis Jenkins, age 76, of Dallas, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2006. He was born on December 21, 1929 in Bartow Co. to the late John and Cora Lee Jenkins. He was retired from Shaw Industries after 25 years of service and was a member of Mountain View Church of God.

Surviving are his wife, Louise Cochran Jenkins; a step-son, Gerald Cochran of Rockmart; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Margaret Brown of Cartersville; grandchildren, Cliff Cochran and his wife, Polly, Chad Cochran, Angel Cochran; great-grandchildren, Heather, Madison and Christopher Cochran; special nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram with Rev. Kenny Jacobs and Rev. Hershel Tibbitts officiating. The interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens in Cartersville. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram is in charge of arrangements.
