HIRAM, GA 30141 770-445-7133 FAX 770-505-7273 Hicks Mr. Kenneth Wayne Hicks, age 51, of Acworth, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2006. He was born on October 2, 1954 in Bristol, TN. He owned The Hicks Agency/Cotton States Insurance Co. in Dallas, GA and was a member of Hope Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, James E. Hicks and his brother, Jerry Hicks. Surviving are his wife, Leesa Collier Hicks; a son, Jonathan Oliver Hicks of Acworth; daughters and sons-in-law, January and Duane Shiflett of Cartersville and Mega and Frank Sumner of St. Marys, GA; his mother, Hazel Tallman Hicks of Bristol, TN; a brother, Gordon Hicks of Johnson City, TN; a sister, Vivian Hicks of Bristol, TN; grandchildren, Audrey Shiflett and Isiah Sumner. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 7, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. from Hope Methodist Church with Rev. Tommy Willingham officiating. The interment will follow in Kennesaw Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Successful Christian Living, P.O. It was very moving especially during the rememberance part when his son got up to talk about his dad. Wow! no holding back the tears there. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family.
