Romines

Mr. Claude Arvil Romines, age 83, of Dallas, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2006. He was born on August 26, 1922 in Sevierville, TN to the late Issac and Alice Romines. He was a loving husband, loving father and loving papaw. He will be sadly missed by his family. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Romines was preceded in death by 5 brothers, 1 sister and his grandchild, Daniella Romines.

Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Wanda Romines; sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Athena Romines of Moshiem, TN, Floyd and Benetta Romines of Dallas, Doug and Brenda Romines of Kingston, TN, Lynn Romines of Dallas, Ronald and Joyce Romines of Dallas, Wayne and Laura Romines of Dallas and Jeff and Angelia Romines of Dallas; a daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Larry Mohon of Dallas; brothers and sister-in-law, Earnest Romines of Knoxville, TN and Lee and Helen Romines of Jefferson, TN; a sister, Annabelle Baker of Knoxville, TN; 12 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 15 step-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram with his grandson, Reverend Tim Romines and Reverend James W. Wise officiating. The interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
