Mrs. Evelyn Estelle Pate, age 88, of Dallas, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2006. She was born on May 7, 1917 in Marietta to the late John and Flora Mashburn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Pate and her daughter, Evelyn Raye Pate.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Ronald Nabors of Dallas; grandchildren, Mistie Marie Chastain and Christopher Wesley Nabors; great-grandchildren, Andrew Preston Nabors and Landon Samuel Chastain.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 17, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram with Reverend Thomas Lee officiating. The interment will follow in Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta with Sammy Chastain, Andy Anderson, Richard Cannon and Charles Popham serving as pallbearers. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram in charge of arrangements.
