Strickland

Mr. Robert L. Strickland, age 58, of Lilburn, Ga passed away Sunday, December 28, 2003. He was born December 23, 1945 in Rome, Ga to the late Henry Lawrence and Mildred W. Strickland. He worked in the Policies and Procedures Division at the Georgia Department of Labor and was an Army veteran. He was of the Methodist faith.

Surviving are his son, Robert Brent Strickland of Lilburn; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mr. And Mrs. Kevin (Teressa) Crabtree of Columbia, Tn and Mr. And Mrs. Greg (Renee) Watkins of Lawrenceville, Ga; Nieces, Rachael and Alyssa Watkins; a nephew, Patrick Compton.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. from the New Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery in Hiram, Georgia. The pallbearers will be friends and nephews. The honorary pallbearers will be his co-workers at the Policies and Procedures Division of the Georgia Department of Labor. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 30, 2003 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, Georgia. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, Georgia in charge of arrangements.
