Mrs. Ruby Grace Lester, age 97, of Austell, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2003. She was born April 21, 1906 in Milan, TN to the late Hillary and Mollie Poindexter. She was a member of The First Baptist Church in Canton, Ga.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Lenox Lester. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and LaNelle Lester of Powder Springs; Grandchildren, Susan Ashworth of Powder Springs and Bill Lester of Kennesaw; Two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram with Reverend John Lummis officiating. The interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram in charge of arrangements.
