Stewart

Mr. Billy Ray Stewart, age 51, of Hiram, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2003. He was born May 25, 1952 in Calhoun, Georgia to Elise Stewart and the late Billy Sunday Stewart. He was an Army veteran and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Stewart was a residential carpenter.

Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Carol Stewart; a son, James Sean Stewart of Hinesville, Ga; his mother, Elise Stewart; sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda and Lee Kirkpatrick of Crossville, Tn and Betty and Tommy Stapp of Dallas; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Clark Funeral Home in Hiram with Reverend Billy Crabb and Mr. Vernon Sides officiating. The interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. The pallbearers are Dennis Pope, David Hardy, Charles Landrum, Tommy Jones, Gary Pruitt and Shane May. The family will receive friends Monday, December 29, 2003 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram in charge of arrangements.
