Gulledge

Mrs. Dora Gulledge, age 77, of Dallas, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2006 at Wellstar Paulding Hospital where she had been a patient in the nursing home unit for three years. She was born in Paulding County on July 29, 1928 to the late Enis and Inez Meek and lived there all her life. She was retired from Paulding Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Gulledge.

Surviving are her daughter, Debbie Haley Elvington of Dallas; her son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Janice Haley of Dallas; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Gordon and Shirley Meek of Dallas, Henry and LaDonna Meek of Frostproof, FL, Talmadge Meek of Dallas and Ralph and Janice Meek of Rockmart; sisters-in-law, Myrtle Carter of Dallas and LueVerne Meek of Haines City, FL; grandchildren, Joshua Elvington of Phenix City, AL and Kim Fosmore and her husband, David of Dallas; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Fosmore and Joseph Fosmore, both of Dallas.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 13, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. from Northside Baptist Church in Dallas with Dr. Curtis Turner and Reverend David Fosmore officiating. The body was cremated. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wellstar Nursing Center, c/o Imogene Nelson, 600 W. Memorial Dr., Dallas, Georgia 30132. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram in charge of arrangements.
