McMichen

Mr. James F. “Jim� McMichen, age 61, of Dallas, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2005. He was born on June 22, 1944 in Atlanta to the late Melvis and Eva Benson McMichen. He was a retired jailer and dispatcher for the Paulding Co. Sheriff’s Department.

Surviving are his sister and brother-in-law, Fay and Laban Tibbitts of Dallas; brothers and sisters-in-law, Don and Jimmie McMichen of Newnan and Gene and Joyce McMichen of Sharpsburg, GA; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 25, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home with Reverend Hershel Tibbitts and Reverend Todd Tibbitts officiating. The interment will follow in Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery with Donnie McMichen, Steve McMichen, Mike Tibbitts, Danny Tibbitts, Joey Tibbitts, Jon Tibbitts, Joseph Johnson and Jesse Johnson serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram in charge of arrangements.
