Duke

Mr. Herbert Lee Duke, age 74, of Hiram, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2003. He was born February 14, 1929 in Paulding Co. to the late Kirby and Mary Hardy Duke. He was retired from The Lockheed Corp. and was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. Mr. Duke was also a member of the Hiram Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Duke.

Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Lou Cinda Duke; a son ,Stephen Duke of Dallas; daughters and son-in-law, Cheryl and Bobby Reaid of Hiram and Melissa Osborne of Hiram; Sisters, Doris and Harris Campbell of Dallas and Peggy Camp of Douglasville; Seven grandchildren; Six great-grandchildren; Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 2, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. from Poplar Springs Baptist Church with Dr. Louie Winstead, Reverend Don Voyles and Mr. Todd Voyles officiating. The interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
