Clark Funeral Home Posted May 17, 2019 Report Share Posted May 17, 2019 Lee Hogue, age 80, of Hiram, GA, formally of Sugar Hill, GA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain, surrounded by his loved ones. Mr. Hogue was born in Atlanta, GA, on September 27, 1938 to the late Lyman and Lois Hogue. Mr. Hogue was a faithful member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, as he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior 8 years ago. He was in the American Legion # 264 of Mableton, GA, and also a member of Voiture 40 & 8 # 217. In his spare time, Lee was an avid train collector and still has some from his childhood. As well as being a collector, he loved sports and the Georgia Bulldogs. He greatly enjoyed playing golf, as he would always tell everyone about his hole in one. Mr. Hogue is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved spouse, Louise, and his siblings; Gene Hogue, Ann Richardson, Katheryn Sheffield, Shirley Hogue, Gayle Seabrook, Eddie Hogue and Carlton Hogue.Survivors include his sisters; Melba Bagwell of Hiram, GA, Betty Champion of Fairmount, GA, Norma (Gene) Head of Hiram, GA, many nieces and nephews, also great and great-great nieces and nephews.A memorial service for Mr. Lee Hogue will be held at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church at a later date.
