Clark Funeral Home Posted April 5, 2019 Report Share Posted April 5, 2019 Marion Brumelow age 75, of Powder Springs, GA passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019. She was born on May 24th, 1943 in Atlanta, GA to the late Cecil Kennedy and Georgia “Bill” Rolin. Marion was a loving wife, mother, and “Memaw”. She loved her church, and because of her service and dedication to the Lord many lives were changed. She was also known for her wonderful songs at VBS. Marion loved spending time with her high school friends “the Girls”. Her grandkids will forever think of Memaw when they hear the song “You are my Sunshine”. Marion is survived by her loving husband Joel “Doug” Brumelow, Sr., Son Joel (Kim) Brumelow II of Powder Springs, GA, Daughters Donna (Keith) Long of Florissant, MO and Darlene (Steve) Kenney of Powder Springs, GA, Brothers Joe Kennedy and Emmitt (Cheryl) Kennedy, Sister Nancy Arrington, Grandchildren Anthony Trotter, Wendy (Marc) Brown, Staci Abercrombie, Jonah (Laura) Long, Canaan Long, Baylie Brumelow, Hunter Brumelow, Lydia Kenney, and Erin Kenney, Great Grandchild Hayden Hall, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held in Clark Funeral Home Chapel Sunday, April 7, 2019 at 3:00PM with Brother Larry Hart and Rev. Johnathan Woodward officiating. Interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in her honor, 950 East Paces Ferry Rd, Ste 820, Atlanta GA 30326.
