Jack Bowlin, age 79 of Hiram, GA, passed away on May 31, 2018 at his residence. He was born on December 27, 1938 in Birmingham, AL to the late John L. and Lucille Bowlin and was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Bowlin. Mr. Bowlin was a dispatcher in the trucking industries for forty years and a member of Riverside Church of God.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-one years, Janice Patterson Bowlin of Hiram, GA; sons, James (Carol) Bowlin of Acworth, GA, Travis (Sherry) Bowlin of Dallas, GA; daughters, Beverly (Bud) Staggs of Clanton, AL, Sherry (Thomas) Blagg of Hiram, GA; brother, Ray Bowlin of Ocala, FL; eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Riverside Church of God in Powder Springs, GA with Pastor Thomas Blagg and Reverend Travis Bowlin officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens in Bessemer, AL with grandsons serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Riverside Church of God from 5:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M.
