Berdene S. Wilson, age 79, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018. She was born on November 5, 1938, in Robbinsville, NC, to the late Porter William & Colleen Jenkins Sawyer. Ms. Wilson was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church and retired from Kennestone Hospital as a nurse after 40 years of service.

Survivors include her daughter, Marsha & Bryan Jones of Hiram, GA; sisters, Dorothy & Bob Jackson of Roanoke, VA, and Carolyn & Rick Blethen of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Jessy & Morgan Atcheson, Ashley Jones, Brent & Kierston Jones and Brett Jones; great-grandchildren, Zoe Atcheson, Louden Engel and Liam Jones; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 11 AM, from Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Don Rackley and Mr. Greg Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in Piney Grove Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 15, 2018, from 5 PM until 7 PM.
