Clark Funeral Home Posted January 2, 2018 Report Share Posted January 2, 2018 William Russell Fielder, SR, age 87, of Hiram, GA, passed away on January 1, 2018. He was born on November 6, 1930, in Cochran, GA, to the late George Conway & Annie Lee Fielder, and was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Mary Jeanette Fielder, son, Russell Fielder, two brothers and three sisters. Mr. Fielder was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Korean Conflict, retired from Lockheed-Martin after 30 years of service, was a home builder and built all of his children’s homes, and was a member of New Canaan Baptist Church. Survivors include his sons, Andy & Jamie Fielder of Hiram, GA, and Jack Fielder of Dallas, GA; daughter, Stacy & Steve Parson of Dallas, GA; daughter-in-law, Annette Fielder of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Andrew Fielder, Ryan Fielder, Shannon & Steven Parson, Kerri Harris, Marcus & Natalie Fielder, Rebekah & Chris Shouse, Derrick & Allison Fielder, Matthew & Shannon Fielder, Nicholas & Lauren Fielder, and Patrick & Sydney Fielder; great-grandchildren, Addison Parson, Hannah Fielder, Elora Shouse, Caroline Fielder, Charlette Fielder, Charles Fielder, Colton Fielder, Avery Fielder, Gabriel Fielder, and Elijah Fielder; several nieces and nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at 2 PM, from Clark Funeral Home with Derrick Fielder, Patrick Fielder and Marcus Fielder officiating. Interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. Derrick Fielder, Patrick Fielder, Matthew Fielder, Nicholas Fielder, Ryan Fielder, Stephen Parson Andrew Fielder and Marcus Fielder will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 5, 2018, from 5 PM until 8 PM. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA, is in charge of arrangements. BP CSR Posted January 3, 2018 Report Share Posted January 3, 2018 Mr. Fielder was one of the nicest men I have ever met. He had a smile that you remembered long after you were not in his presence!
