Clark Funeral Home Posted December 28, 2017 Report Share Posted December 28, 2017 Weyman Walter Holland, age 89, of Lithia Springs, GA, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017. He was born on July 20, 1928, in Dallas, GA, to the late William Walter & Ada Finch Holland. Mr. Holland was a United States Navy Veteran where he served in the Korean War, was a 1951 graduate of University of GA, retired as an executive from Sears Roebuck of Atlanta after 45 years of service, and was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church where he was ordained as a deacon in 1958. Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Wilma Green Holland of Lithia, Springs, GA; children, Sherrie & Gordon Chappell of Williamsburg, VA, Joan & Roy Ziering of Chamblee, GA, and Thomas & Joy Holland of Union Community; grandchildren, Staci & Andrew Topp, Geoff Ziering, Jennifer Holland, and Justin & Amanda Holland; great-grandchildren, Lauren Topp, Katherine Topp, and Megan Topp; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at 11 AM, from Paulding Memorial Gardens, with Dr. Wayne Meadows officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 29, 2017, from 5 PM until 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Poplar Springs Baptist Church Building Fund in memory of Mr. Weyman Holland, 2056 Hiram-Douglasville HWY, Hiram, GA, 30141.
