Bill Gurley, age 68, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2017. He was born on August 21, 1949, in Atlanta, GA, and was preceded in death by his father, Silas Gurley. Mr. Gurley retired from McKenney’s Inc after 30 years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Dallas.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Susie Bagley Gurley of Dallas, GA; son, William Todd Carter of Dawsonville, GA; daughters, Kasey (Guy) Kerns of Powder Springs, GA, and Natalie (Tim) Gurley Garrett of Dallas, GA; mother, Nava Gurley of Mableton, GA; brother, Randy & Penny Gurley of Dunwoody, GA; grandchildren, Brenden Kerns, Zachary Kerns, Ellisha Kerns, Noah Kerns, Talon Garrett, Tyce Garrett, Jordan Carter and Caleb Carter; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 17, 2017, at 1:00 PM from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Don Rackley and Dr. Todd Gaddis officiating. Interment will follow in Powder Springs City Cemetery. Jack Ferguson, Doug Ferguson, Corey Housworth, Neil Lambert, Mark Young and Al Stitcher will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, December 16, 2017, from 5 PM until 8 PM.
