Alex Gordon Luttrell, age 18, of Rockmart, GA; passed away on October 15, 2017. He was born on April 22, 1999, in Austell, GA. He was a 2017 graduate of South Paulding High School, where he was a member of the South Paulding Marching Band, drama, chorus, took part in every musical and was an aspiring actor. Alex was a member of Beulahland Baptist Church.

Survivors include father, Michael Gordon Luttrell of Rockmart, GA; mother, Dawn & Tommy Southern of Buchanan, GA; brothers, Joseph Wayne & Ilka Palmer of Rockmart, GA, Matthew Thomas & Katie Luttrell of Temple, GA, and James Michael Luttrell of Rockmart, GA; step-brother, Kyle Alexander & Haley Southern of Rockmart, GA; step-sister, Amanda Jo Southern of Rockmart, GA; grandparents; Gordon & Jane Luttrell of Rockmart, GA, and Michael & Joy Marsh of Temple, GA; aunts and uncles, Stephen & Christina Luttrell of Rockmart, GA, Maria Moore of Rockmart, GA, Patricia Luttrell of Dallas, GA; several cousins, and five nieces.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday October 18, 2017, at 2 PM, from Clark Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Piney Woods Cemetery. Matthew Luttrell, James Luttrell, Luke Luttrell, Kevin Thompson, Kyle Southern and Stephen Luttrell will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 17, 2017, from 4 PM until 8 PM and Wednesday October 18, 2017, from 11 AM until the time of service.
