Clark Funeral Home Posted April 20, 2017 Report Share Posted April 20, 2017 (edited) Dudley Cowan, age 86, of Buchanan, GA, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017. He was born on August 15, 1930, in Hiram, GA, to the late Roy Virgil & Ella Mae Estes Cowan, and was preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond Cowan and James Cowan, and sister, Frances Luca. Mr. Cowan was a United States Army Veteran, and worked as a sheet metal worker for over 25 years. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Agnes Cowan; son, Jon & Else Rowland of Mableton, GA; daughter, Beverly Kay Nicholas of Woodstock, GA; brother, Robert Cowan of Charleston, SC; sisters, Gene Brasier of FL, and Patricia Owens of FL; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 1:00 PM from the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, April 25, 2017 from 10:00AM until 11:30 AM.
