John R. Schreiber, age 86, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016. He was born on February 19, 1930, in Newport, PA, to the late Albert Gus Schreiber and was preceded in death by his wife, Marcelle Schreiber, and son, Alan Schreiber. Mr. Schreiber was a United States Air Force veteran, retired from Lockheed-Martin as a computer programmer with over 35 years of service and was a member of New Canaan Baptist Church. John was a member Dallas Masonic Lodge #182 and received his 50 year pin.

Survivors include his son, Tim & Leigh Schreiber of Dallas, GA; brother, George & Margie Schreiber of Liverpool, PA, grandchildren, Brian & Emily Schreiber of Dallas, GA, and Mandy & Mark Puckett of Canton, GA; great-grandchildren, Emma Puckett, Daniel Puckett and Cameron Schreiber; a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016, at 11 AM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Don Rackley and Reverend Jason Loudermilk officiating. Interment will follow in New Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery. Lee Blevins, Jeff Blevins, Mick Royston, James Royston, Don Brown and Todd Daniels will serve as pallbearers. E.D. Daniels and Larry Nix will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, December 15, 2016, from 5 PM until 8 PM.
