Funeral Director Posted September 26, 2016 Report Share Posted September 26, 2016 Mrs. Wilma Jean Farmer Weathers, age 85, of Dallas passed away peacefully at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice on Sunday, September 25, 2016. Wilma was born on August 17, 1931 in Franklin, Georgia to loving parents, the late Mr. Jordan Farmer and Mrs. Vera Mae Marlow Farmer. Wilma was a homemaker and also drove a school bus for many years. A hard worker, she enjoyed being active, working in the yard, quilting and sewing. A Christian, Wilma was a member of Bible Way Baptist Church in Powder Springs, Georgia. In addition to her parents, Wilma is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. William O. Weathers; 3 brothers, Travis Farmer, Ulis Farmer, and Gary Farmer; and one sister, Sara Daniell. Wilma is survived by her three children, Dwight Weathers and his wife, Charlene, of Carrollton, Sue Traylor and her husband, Mike, of Dallas, and Rusty Weathers and his wife, Sharon, also of Dallas; 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends also survive. The funeral service for Wilma Jean Farmer Weathers will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Traylor officiating. Rusty Weathers will officiate the committal service. Pallbearers include Brad Traylor, Shay Traylor, Kurt Haynes, Chad Weathers, Casey Weathers, Chase Weathers, and Austin Olmstead. The interment will follow at Peaceful Meadows Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, September 26, 2016 from 6-9 PM Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Wilma Jean Farmer Weathers.
