Harold “Bud” Eugene Knight, age 76, of Acworth, GA, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2016. He was born on July 19, 1939, in Cleveland, TN, to the late Mayford Roy Knight & Beedie Schuler Knight. Mr. Knight worked for Thomas Concrete for over 25 years as a heavy equipment operator.

 

Survivors include wife, Betty Pennington Knight of Acworth, GA; sons, James Harold Knight of Ft. Myers, FL; Scott Knight & wife, Amy of Dallas, GA, Anthony Knight of Acworth, GA, Cody Myers of Cartersville, GA; Donna Jean Rich & husband, Dwayne of Spartanburg, SC, Brenda Sue Radford & husband, Michael of Ft. Myers, FL; sisters, Barbara Hensley & husband, Eddie of Douglasville, GA, Linda Swinson & husband, Ronald of Blairsville, GA, Shirley Hannah & husband, Clarence of Douglasville, GA; brothers, Jr. Knight & wife, Billy Jean of Conyers, GA, Roger Knight & wife, Dixie of Birmingham, AL, Bobbie Knight & wife, Evelyn of Neon, KY, Robert Knight & wife, Gracie of Neon, KY, Clarence Knight of Blairsville, GA, Raleigh Knight & wife, Mary Lynn of Conyers, GA; fourteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many nieces & nephews.

 

Funeral services for Mr. Knight will be held on Monday, August 8, 2016, at 11:00 AM, from the Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Don Rackley officiating.

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, August 7, 2016, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Flowers are graciously accepted.
