Donald Atcheson, age 81, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2016. He was born on November 6, 1934, in Hiram, GA, to the late Isac “I.B.” & May Belle Atcheson, and was preceded in death by his son, Bobby Cantrell. Mr. Atcheson was self employed as a cattle dealer for over 30 years and was a member of Hiram United Methodist Church.

 

Survivors include his sons, Barry & Chantay Atcheson of Hiram, GA, and Allen & Gail Cantrell of Jackson, SC; daughter, Patti Atcheson, and partner, Myrt Payne of Austell, GA; daughter-in-law, Sheila Cantrell; sister, Lorraine Bennett; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a multitude of friends.

 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at 11 AM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Pastor Steve Alred officiating. Interment will follow in Powder Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at 5 PM until 8 PM.
