Margaret Ragsdale Henderson, age 96, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016. She was born on July 20, 1919, in Dallas, GA, to the late Sanders Walker & Georgia Ragsdale, and was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Henderson, SR, and grandchildren, Mitchell Ruff, Joey Ruff and Micaiah Rose Henderson. Mrs. Henderson was a member of Legacy Baptist Church.

 

Survivors include daughters, Harriet & Hoyt Ruff of Dallas, GA, and Hilda & Terry Moon of Dallas, GA; sons, John & June Henderson of Dallas, GA, and Jimmy & Dina Henderson of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Wesley Ruff, Philip Ruff, Suzanne & Dave Schaefer, Julie & Jeremy Bruce, Lauren Henderson, James Henderson, Caitlyn Henderson, Jay & Aimee Henderson, Jill & Jed Davitt and Jennie Henderson; twelve great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2016, at 2 PM, from Legacy Baptist Church, with Reverend Donald Shearin, Reverend Alton Wilson, Mr. David Carmichael, and Mr. Jay Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in Dallas City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, April 30, 2016, from 4 PM until 8 PM.
