Mr. William Ralph Keown, age 90, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2016. He was born on November 8, 1925, in Paulding County, GA, to the late Tyra Almarene Keown & Ruby Walker Keown. Mr. Keown was employed as a carpenter for over forty years. He served as a deacon for more than twenty years at Shady Grove Baptist Church.

 

Survivors include his loving wife of almost seventy two years, Dorothy Hughes Keown of Dallas, GA; son, William Jerry Keown & wife, Neysa of Dallas, GA; sister, Inez Garner of Dallas, GA; grandsons, Johnathan Blake Keown & wife, Kristie, William Barry Keown & wife, Shea; great-grandchildren, Hannah Keown, Lily Keown, Gage Crawford, Gatlin Keown & Grayson Keown; several nieces & nephews.

 

Funeral services for Mr. Keown will be held on Monday, March 14, 2016, at 2:00 PM, from the Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Jimmy Tibbitts officiating. Interment will follow at Smyrna Methodist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Jerry Keown, Blake Keown, Barry Keown, Thomas Garner, Cecil Garner, Orell Garner, Jimmy Hughes & Gage Crawford.

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, March 13, 2016, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
