Clark Funeral Home Posted March 10, 2016 Report Share Posted March 10, 2016 (edited) Johnnie Mae Lairsey, age 78, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016. She was born on February 27, 1938, in Augusta, GA, to the late John & Rena Jackson, and was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Edward Lairsey, son, Chuck Lairsey, and grandson, David Shipp, JR. She was a member of Hiram First Baptist Church. Survivors include children, Sue Blackstock of Fairburn, GA, Lynn & the late Wayne Keener of Rockmart, GA, Terri & David Shipp of Villa Rica, GA, Mark & Janet Lairsey, JR, of Hiram, GA, Evelyn & Jackie Brock of Jackson, GA, Edna Bradley of Rockmart, GA, Lee & LeeAnn Lairsey of Acworth, GA, and Laura & Jay Wheeling of Carrollton, GA; brother, Jack Jackson of Waynesboro, GA; sisters, Patricia Ann Clark of Louisville, GA, Barbara Eskew of Waynesboro, GA, and Sara & George Fail of Waynesboro, GA; twenty-one grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016, at 2 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Lee Lairsey and Mark Lairsey, JR officiating. Interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. Steven Blackstock, Scott Blackstock, Stephen Dorsey, Mark Dorsey, Tim Dorsey, Josh Lairsey, Brian Bradley, Taylor Lairsey, Chris Lairsey, Daniel Lairsey, John Keith, and Kyle Brock will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 11, 2016, from 4 PM until 8 PM.
