Dian Wood Pearson - July 11, 1944 - March 7, 2016

Ms. Dian Wood Pearson, age 71, of LaGrange, Georgia passed away on Monday, March 7, 2016.

 

Dian was born on July 11, 1944 in Riverdale, Georgia to loving parents the late Mr. Dexter William Wood and Mrs. Bessie Mae Wood. Dian was a registered nurse and also had a host of other jobs in her lifetime including selling insurance, real estate, and owned and operated a personnel service. She was of the Baptist faith.

 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her close, personal friend Mr. Phillip Albano.

 

Dian is survived by two sons, Mr. Bobby Johnson of Port St. Joe, FL and Mr. Frank Johnson of LaGrange, GA; 1 daughter, Ms. Wendy Johnson of LaGrange, GA; 3 great grandchildren, Thomas Johnson of Troy, AL, Savannah Johnson and Tyler Johnson both of Acworth, GA; 1 great grandson, Gregory Johnson also of Acworth; and 1 brother, Eddie Wood of Senoia, GA. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

 

A graveside service for Dian Wood Pearson will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 2 PM at Paulding Memorial Gardens in Hiram, GA with Rev. Thomas Cole officiating.
