James “Kenny” Lee, age 76, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2016. He was born on June 2, 1939, in Atlanta, GA, to the late E.T. & Dorothy Lee, and was preceded in death by his son, Mike Lee. Mr. Lee was a treasure and a gift to his family and friends, having a wonderful sense of humor and loved telling jokes. Kenny enjoyed fishing, especially with his grandchildren, and watching NASCAR. He retired after 40 years from Nabisco.

 

Survivors include his wife, of 39 years, Lynn Lee of Dallas, GA; children, Tonia & Mark Allen of Woodstock, GA, Pattie & Russell Thomason of Hiram, GA, Treisha & David Denton of Dallas, GA, and Loyd & Heidi Carnes of Bremen, GA; eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 11, 2016, at 2 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Pastor Phillip Harvell and Dorsey Denton officiating. Interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. Tyler Carnes, Cody Carnes, Dustin Carnes, Jeremy Denton, Jesse McDonald and Austin Allen will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, from 4 PM until 8 PM, and Thursday, March 10, 2016, from 4 PM until 8 PM.
