Shirley May Mihalek - December 24, 1943 - March 5, 2016

Mrs. Shirley May Mihalek, age 72, formerly of Dallas and now of Rockmart, Ga., passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2016, at her residence.

 

Shirley was born on December 24, 1943, in Pittsburg, PA, the daughter of the late Mr. Wilbur Daughterty and Mrs. Ruby Noland Daughterty. Shirley was very dedicated to her family, a loving mother, and was of the Baptist faith.

 

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mr. Leo William Mihalek, one son Donald Ledford and four siblings.

 

Shirley is survived by four sons, Michael Ledford, Mark (Deborah) Ledford of Tennessee, Billy Ledford and Danny Ledford., one daughter Sherri (Terry) Byess all of Paulding, GA. She is also, survived by 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews and many other relatives also survive.

 

The family will have a service at the National Cemetery in Knoxville, TN at a later date.
