Wanda Ann Shepard, age 71, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2016. She was born on February 17, 1944 in Lexington, KY to the late Mack Garnett & Jane F. Garnett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons Arnold Carpenter & Robert Dale Carpenter, Jr.

 

Wanda was an avid reader and enjoyed doing crafts. She loved to listen to music, watch The Food Network and DIY shows. She always centered her life around her family and her love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She lived her life accordingly with one of her favorite quotes, “Always put it in God’s hands.”

 

She is survived by her two youngest children, son, Wayne Carpenter of Hiram, GA & daughter, Cathleen Shepard & husband, Jerry DaHill of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Robert Carpenter III of Nashua, NH, James DaHill of Dallas, GA, Jessica DaHill of Dallas, GA; great-granddaughters, Kiley Carpenter of Nashua, NH & Abby McClure of Dallas, GA.

 

In accordance with Ms. Shepard’s wishes, her body has been cremated. No services are planned at this time.
