William Otis Smith, age 74, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016. He was born on September 1, 1941 in Calhoun, GA, to the late Woodrow Smith & Bonnie Gravely Smith. Mr. Smith worked as a self-employed painter for over sixty years.

 

Survivors include wife, Daralene Smith of Hiram, GA; son, Jessie Smith & wife, Marion of Dallas GA, Todd Smith & wife, Sonia of Calhoun, GA, Dewayne Smith & wife, Amelia of Calhoun, GA; daughter, Lisa Keene & husband, Daniel of Dallas, GA, Tina Smith of Calhoun, GA; sister, Carolyn Fowler of Bessemer, AL; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; many nieces & nephews.

 

Funeral services for Mr. Smith will be held on Monday, January 18, 2016, at 11:00 AM, from the Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Don Rackley officiating. Interment will follow at Melrose Hills Memorial Park in Villa Rica, GA. Serving as pallbearers will be Danny Keene, Jessie Smith, Luke Mauldin, Chad Smith, Dewayne Smith & Rob Fowler.

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, January 17, 2016, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
