Mrs. Johnnie Giddens Edwards, age 81, of Temple, GA, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2015. She was born on January 24, 1934, in Nashville, GA, to the late John & Sarah Giddens, and was preceded in death by her husband, Don N. Edwards. Mrs. Edwards retired from Allison-Smith Company as an executive secretary, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Powder Springs.

 

Survivors include children, Donna & Ken Barwick of Roswell, GA, David Edwards of Acworth, GA, and Cheryl & John Duncan of Temple, GA; grandchildren Jamie & Jacob Griffith, Kevin N. Duncan, Beth & David Sokol, Becky & Ty Elowski, Mary Kathryn Barwick, Douglas Barwick, and David & Bria Barwick; great-grandchildren, Julianna Griffith, Jackson Griffith, Mason Elowski, Garrett Sokol, Will Sokol, and A.J. Sokol.

 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2015, at 11 AM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Mike Woods and Reverend Alan Davis officiating. Interment will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2015, at 1:30 PM, from Greenwood Cemetery in Atlanta, GA. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, from 4 PM until 8 PM.
