Barbara Jean Nelson Bass, age 82, of Powder Springs, GA, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2015. She was born on January 3, 1933, in Talbot, GA, to the late Charles & Mary Ellen Nelson. Mrs. Bass was retired from S& L Mortgage as an office manager in the accounting department, and was a member of First Baptist Church in Mableton.

 

Survivors include husband of 61 years, William J. Bass of Powder Springs, GA; son, William Phillip & Denise Bass of Dallas, GA; daughter, Robin Manley of Austell, GA; sister, Mary Ellen Myers of Columbus, GA; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.

 

A public viewing will be held on Sunday, December 27, 2015, from 4 PM until 7 PM. A private family service will be held at a later date
