Eddie Williams, age 57, of Douglasville, GA, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015. He was born on September 11, 1958, in Douglasville, GA, to the late RolandWilliams and Shirley Eiler, and was preceded in death by his step-mother, Laura Williams, and step-father, Donald Eiler. Mr. Williams worked as a foreman for C.W. Matthews & Bankhead Enterprises. Eddie was an avid bird hunter and enjoyed playing baseball when he was young.

 

Survivors include wife, Becky Williams, of Douglasville, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Joshua & Jordan Williams of Villa Rica, GA; daughter, Stacey West of Dallas, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Scott & Crystal Williams of New Georgia; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sylvia & Laurence Wilburn of Dallas, GA, and Debi & Barry Puckett of Dallas, GA; grandson, Lee Forsyth; great-grandchildren, Hayden and Abby Grace.

 

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 27, 2015, at 3 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Thomas Blagg officiating. Interment will follow in Piney Woods Baptist Church Cemetery in Rockmart, GA. Barry Puckett, Marlin (P-Nut) Chestnut, Ted Baker, Allen Stanfield, Caleb Lee and Keith Puckett will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 27, 2015, from 1 PM until 3 PM.
