Funeral Director Posted December 21, 2015 Report Share Posted December 21, 2015 Patsy Gail Adair, age 59, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Thursday morning, December 17, 2015, at her residence. A native of Dallas and Paulding County, Patsy was born on August 18, 1956, the daughter of the late J.D. Adair and Ruby Eller Gravett Adair. She had been a resident of Dallas and Paulding County the greater part of her life and was of the Baptist faith. Patsy was a homemaker and caregiver, had attended Paulding County High School and loved motorcycles. She adored her grandchildren and her great-grandson, Cooper. In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth Elizabeth Pope and a brother, Clinton “Red Man” Adair. Patsy is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Shane Chasteen of Dallas; four grandchildren, Amber (Cody) Cantrell and Austin Green, all of Dallas, and Avery Swanson and Kayleigh Swanson, both of Powder Springs, GA; six sisters, Earlene Ragsdale, Melba Adair, Jean Deal, Susan Adair, Barbara Moore and Brenda Adair; three brothers, James Wendell Adair, Charles Robert Adair and John Glenn Adair. A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends also survive. A celebration of Patsy’s life will be held on Monday evening, December 21, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the service hour. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to her great-grandson’s (Cooper) college fund. To donate, please contact the family.
