Mrs. Catherine Ann Fitch, age 67, of Dallas, GA, passed away at her residence on Friday morning, December 18, 2015.

 

Catherine was born on October 17, 1948, in Lanett, AL, the daughter of the late Wheeler Beatrice Blanchard and Esther Roberts Blanchard. She was a graduate of Brown High School in Atlanta and had been a resident of Dallas and Paulding County for the greater part of her life. For a number of years Catherine was associated with Kennestone Hospital. She was an active member of New Canaan Baptist Church and loved helping and doing for others. In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death in 2001 by her husband, Arthur Lee Fitch, Sr., whom she married in 1968, and two sisters, Ruth Sargent and Mary Beatrice Blanchard.

 

Catherine is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and John Green of Dallas; one son, Lee Fitch, of Dallas; two granddaughters, Kimberly Green and Stephanie Green; three great-grandchildren; four sisters, Sherrell Graham of Dallas, Brenda Antoine of Duluth, GA, Ruby Harris of Marietta, GA, and Sue Ellen Blinkhorn of Sylacauga, AL. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends also survive.

 

The family will receive friends on Saturday evening, December 19, 2015, at the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

 

A memorial service to honor Catherine’s memory will be held at a later date.

The staff of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Catherine Ann Fitch.
