Mr. Mark Anthony Waits, age 57, of Dallas passed away at his residence on Tuesday, December 8, 2015.

 

Mark was born on March 5, 1958 in Dallas, Georgia to loving parents, the late Mr. Buford Lee Waits and Mrs. Edna Ruth Twilley Waits Cole. Mark worked as a heavy equipment operator for Thompson Grading. In his spare time, he enjoyed being outdoors and working in his garage.

 

In addition to his parents, Mark is preceded in death by three brothers, Ralph Waits, Terry Waits, and Harold Waits.

 

Mark is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Mrs. Sharon Henderson Waits; 2 daughters, Mrs. Wendy (Larry) Frey and Mrs. Robin (Terry) Epps both of Dallas; 3 grandchildren, Devyn Frey, Reese Frey, and Abigail Epps all of Dallas; 1 half brother, J.R. Waits of Cedartown, GA and sister in law, Rachel Waits of Dallas. Many other relatives and friends also survive.

 

The funeral service for Mark Anthony Waits will be held in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 11 AM with Rev. Thomas Cole officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery with Shane Waits, Kevin Waits, Larry Frey, Terry Epps, Zachary Webb, and Joe Webb serving as pallbearers.

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 from 4-9 PM. They have requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. You can donate online at www.stjude.org or by phone at 1-800-805-5856.
