Clark Funeral Home Posted November 25, 2015 Report Share Posted November 25, 2015 Master SGT. William Travis Tarrant, age 39, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2015. He was born on April 15, 1976, in Ridgecrest, CA. Mr. Tarrant retired from the United States Army as Master SGT and served in Iraq. Master SGT Tarrant was on his last mission when he was wounded in action in 2007, receiving a purple heart. He was a mason, a member of Scottish Rite, and worked for a special task force for Homeland Security investigating child abuse. Survivors include his wife, Christina Tarrant of Dallas, GA; son, William Patrick Tarrant of Dallas, GA; parents, Patrick & Mary Tarrant of Dallas, GA; siblings, Jason Tarrant of Dallas, GA, Kristy Bitar, Sammy Bitar and John Watson; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 27, 2015, at 3 PM, from Clark Funeral Home with Reverend Don Rackley officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 27, 2015, from 1 PM until the service time.
