Valerie Ann Cole Worthy - October 24, 1960 - September 9, 2015

Mrs. Valerie Ann Cole Worthy, age 54, of Dallas passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at her residence.

 

Valerie was born on October 24, 1960 in Austell, GA to loving parents, Mrs. Iris Shelton Cole and the late Mr. Mack Jonas Cole. Valerie worked as a store manager for Speedway for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and tending to plants, reading, swimming, and riding in her convertible. She was of the Christian faith.

 

Valerie is survived by her husband of 29 years, Charles Worthy of Dallas; 3 children, Ronnie (Audrey) Attaway of Bremen, Jerry Worthy of Austell, and Stephen Attaway and his significant other Sheri Allan of Mt. Home, AK; 1 granddaughter, Jordyn Attaway of Mt. Home, AK; Mother, Iris Shelton Cole of Dallas; 2 sisters, Sandy (Jeff) Hall and Donna (Darren) Barrett of Douglasville and 1 brother, Brian (Tracie) Cole of Hiram. In addition, many other nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends also survive.

 

The funeral service for Valerie will be held on Friday, September 11, 2015 in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home at 11 AM with Rev. Steve Wipple officiating. Interment will follow at Peaceful Meadows Cemetery in Dallas, GA.

 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 4-9 PM.
