Clark Funeral Home Posted June 2, 2015 Report Share Posted June 2, 2015 Jerry Wells, age 84, of Powder Springs, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2015. He was born on May 12, 1931, in St. Charles, SD, to the late Harvey & Twila Wells. Mr. Wells was the owner and president of Pure Pack Foods. He was a legend at Kellogg’s and was known for his marketing genius. He named the cereal, Frosted Mini-Wheat’s. He loved all four of his grandchildren dearly. He enjoyed playing the game of golf and playing cribbage. Survivors include sons, Jerome D. Wells, JR of Atlanta, GA, and Steve Wells of Powder Springs, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Sherri L. Wells of Albuquerque, NM, Tina & Andy Jones of Charleston, SC, Tammy & Mark Kiger of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Mitchel Wells, Arren Wells, Tyler Jones and Eden Kiger.
