Gail Simmons, age 60, of Rockmart, GA, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2015. Mrs. Simmons was born on November 20, 1954 to the late L.C. Jordan and Barbara Mullinax McFarland. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Edward Simmons. Mrs. Simmons adored her grandkids and loved animals. She enjoyed music and loved to sing. Mrs. Simmons was a member of Trinity Methodist Church in Austell, GA.

 

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Nicholas & Jessica Simmons of Douglasville, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Natalie & David “Danny” Smith of Dallas, GA; mother and step-father, Barbara & Harold McFarland of Dallas, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Jean & Don Hildebrand of Peachtree City, GA; grandchildren, Lillie Smith, Hayden Smith, Wesley Smith, Jackson Simmons and Jacob Simmons.

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Simmons will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 11:00 AM, from the Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend James Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
