Robert S. Lee, age 73, of Douglasville, GA (Paulding County), formerly of Mableton, GA, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2014. He was born on February 5, 1941, in Charlotte, NC, and was preceded in death by his father, Henry Carson Lee. Mr. Lee was an attorney for Gore and Lee Attorneys at Law for over 30 years and was a member of Mableton First Baptist Church. He was an Eagle Scout, and a member of South Cobb Jaycee’s, Cobb Bar Association, and Austell Rotary Club.

 

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Helen Lee of Douglasville, GA; daughters and son-in-law, Ginger L. Stratton of Dallas, GA, and Aprile & Ricky Mathis of Dallas, GA; mother, Hazel J. Lee of Myrtle Beach, SC; brother and sister-in-law, Richard Carson Lee and wife, Marilyn, of Myrtle Beach, SC; grandchildren, Lacey & Jesse Lawrence, S. Cole & Lindsey Stratton, Tripp Mathis, Sarah Stratton and Will Mathis; several nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at 3:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Dr. Gregg Potts officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 30, 2014, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
