Clark Funeral Home Posted September 23, 2014 Report Share Posted September 23, 2014 (edited) Jason “Jay” Gardner, age 24, of Dallas, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2014. He was born on May 20, 1990, in Atlanta, GA and was the son of Allen Gardner III and Carol Holland Gardner. Jay was a 2009 graduate of East Paulding High School and a member of Hickory Heights Baptist Church. Survivors include his father, Allen Gardner III of Dallas; mother, Carol Holland Gardner of Dallas; brother Allen Gardner IV of Dallas; aunts, Jane Holland, Frances Burnside and Kelly Gardner Cadle; uncles, Jim Holland and Greg Gardner; several great aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2014, at 11 a.m., at Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Todd Tibbitts and Pastor Danny Cain officiating. Interment will follow in High Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at Clark Funeral Home, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Clark Funeral Home for the funeral service expenses of Mr. Gardner.
