Clark Funeral Home Posted July 30, 2014 Report Share Posted July 30, 2014 Katie Geneva Motes, age 74, of Cartersville, GA, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2014. She was born October 23, 1939, in Canton, GA, to the late, Clyde & Florene Reece. Survivors include her sons & daughter-in-law, Sammy & Beverly Motes of Kennesaw, GA and Eddie Gene Motes of Ranger, GA; daughters & sons-in-law, Deborah & Barry Brooks of Cartersville, GA, Dianne & Don Holcombe of Kennesaw, GA and Marie & Joey Allmon of Blue Ridge, GA; brother, Fred Reece of Panama City Beach, FL; sister, Polly Morris of Hiram, GA; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, August 1, 2014, at 11:00 AM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Don Rackley officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Park Cemetery in Marietta, GA, with grandchildren serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, July 31, 2014, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA, is in charge of arrangements.
