Elizabeth Stroup, age 82, of Dallas, GA, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014. She was born January 9, 1932, in Atlanta, GA, and was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Oliver Smith & Minnie Croft Smith, and her husband, Alvin Roy Stroup. Mrs. Stroup was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Marietta.

Survivors include her sons & daughters-in-law, Monte & Debbie Stroup of Rockmart, GA and Terry & Angela Stroup of Kennesaw, GA; daughter & son-in-law, Sheila & Greg Lawrence of High Springs, FL; siblings, Harold Smith of Cumming, GA, Jimmy & Mildred Smith of North Carolina, Christine & George Vernon of Ballground, GA, Floyd Smith of Blairsville, GA and Doug & Sally Smith of Birmingham, AL; grandchildren, Jeff Stroup of Talking Rock, GA, Karrie Mills of Acworth, GA, and Melissa & Sean Carman of Bradenton, FL; great-grandchildren, Cody Brasher of High Springs, FL and Kristen & Keith Cross of Rockmart, GA; great-great-grandchild, Loribeth Roberts; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at 11:00 AM, from Clark Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Beulahland Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
