Clark Funeral Home Posted May 21, 2014 Report Share Posted May 21, 2014 Mary A. Cole, age 91, of Centre, AL, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2014. The daughter of the late, Jim & Linda Blackston, she was born on May 5, 1923 in Carbon Hill, AL. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Peggy Marie Blackmon. Mrs. Cole was a member of Narroway Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Johnny Maxie Cole; sons & daughters-in-law, Raymond Baxter & wife, Laverne of Dallas, GA and Billie Baxter & wife, Millie of Centre, AL; grandchildren, Barry Baxter, Cristy Singletary, Lisa Wilkerson and Kevin Baxter; many great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, May 23, 2014, at 11:00 AM, from Clark Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Bethany Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, May 22, 2014, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA, is in charge of arrangements.
