Funeral Director Posted May 18, 2014 Report Share Posted May 18, 2014 Mr. Earl Edward Hurst., age 75 of Hiram, GA passed away peacefully at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital on Saturday, May 17, 2014. Earl was born on September 23, 1938 in Powder Springs, GA to the late Mr. James Clyde Hurst and Mrs. Rosie Privett Hurst. Earl was a customer service representative for Caraustar in Austell, GA and served in the National Guard for six years. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Clara Hurst; children, grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. Visitation for Earl will be conducted on Monday, May 19, 2014 from 4-9 PM at the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home. Per his wishes there will be no formal service. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Wounded Warrior Project, 3343 Peachtree Road NE, #M20, Atlanta, GA 30326 or by visiting www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
