Robert Joe "Bobby" Walden, age 78, of Powder Springs, GA, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014. He was born in Chattanooga, TN, April 30, 1936. Mr. Walden had worked as a dental technician for Underwood Dental in Kennesaw, GA for 26 years. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Donnie Jo Walden; father, Joe Walden of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA; mother, Bernice Rendleman of Rossville, GA; sons & daughter-in-law, Michael Walden of Kimbell, TN, Darrell & Lisa Walden of Grand Prairie, TX, Stephen Walden of Charlotte, NC and Jason Walden of North Carolina; daughter, Gayla Blaylock of Mentone, AL; brother & sister-in-law, Mark & Nancy Walden of Rossville, GA; sisters & brother-in-law, Virginia Fulton of Douglasville, GA and Joyce & Doyle Spangle of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2014, in Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville, GA, with Reverend Don Rackley officiating. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home, on Sunday, May 18, 2014, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
