Shirley Ann Stephenson, age 78, of Dallas, passed away on March 7, 2014. She was born on October 27, 1935, in Carrollton, Ohio, to the late Charles and Katherine Stahler, and was preceded in death by her husband, James Howard Stephenson, and daughter, Kathy Gail Bonton and her brother Bill Stahler. Mrs. Stephenson attended New Canaan Baptist Church and worked as a data processing manager for Paulding Memorial Hospital, data processing manager for Corn Brothers Quaker State Oil Company, and over the Road Truck Driver.

 

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Jim & Karen Stephenson of Dallas, Ga; brother, Brooks Stahler of Louisville, OH, grandchildren, Carmen Walker, Dave Crockett, James Crockett, Brandy Atcheson, and Jesse Atcheson; great-grandchildren, Keirsten Walker, Katherine Walker, Jackson Crockett, Andrew Crockett, Fionn Crockett, Jaycee Crockett, Kayden Crockett, and Adabell Miller; special friend, “Wimpy” Terrett of Dunnellon, FL.

 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 10, 2014, at 2 p.m., from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Doctor Mike Shearon officiating. Interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. Katherine Walker, Keirsten Walker, Vernon Tanner, James Crockett, Jesse Atcheson, and David Brigman will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, March 9, 2014, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.
