Clark Funeral Home Posted February 28, 2014 Report Share Posted February 28, 2014 Joey “Joe Joe” Shipp, age 27, of Kinston, NC, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2014. He was born on November 18, 1986, in Marietta, GA, and was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Charles Shipp, JR. Mr. Shipp was an United States Marine Veteran and was employed by Upholstery One Trim Shop. Survivors include his wife, Karen Lee Shipp of Kinston, NC; daughter, Kaiya Michelle Shipp of Kinston, NC; mother, Patti Shipp and step-father, Glenn Langston of Hiram, GA; brothers, Justin Shipp of Dallas, GA, Forest Cody Shipp of Hiram, GA, step-brother, Scott Langston of Hiram, GA; grandparents, Charles and Glenda Shipp of Powder Springs, GA; step nephews, Dylan Henry of Dallas, GA, and Jaxon Post of Dallas, GA. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 3, 2014, at 11 a.m., from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Minister Ricky Gray officiating. Interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 2, 2014, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Clark Funeral Home, 4373 Atlanta HWY, Hiram, GA, 30141, to help with funeral expenses.
